Sunday Worship

Normally we meet every Sunday at 11.00 am in the Civil Protection building just behind the Lady Elizabeth School on the Cumbre del Sol, Benitachell.  Easy plentiful parking is available directly outside the building. Services normally last approximately 75 minutes, with refreshments afterward.

We are an
inter-denominational church and we have been blessed to receive many visiting preachers with a diversity of church backgrounds. Communion is a special part of our service.  We share the Lord’s table with all who know and love Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour.

Benitachell has a large ex-pat community and while we see this as our main mission field, we do enjoy the constant support of regular visitors from the UK, who have made Benitachell Christian Fellowship their holiday church in Spain.  Holidaymakers are especially welcome and if you would like to join us, all you have to do is come through the front door and be shown to one of our cushioned seats! Children and well-behaved doggies are most welcome!

If you need any further information this can be obtained from our Deacons. Contact details on “Contact Us” tab on the Home Page

Fellowship

After our morning services we meet together for morning coffee and a time of fellowship.
We also have a midweek fellowship every Wednesday from 10:00 am – 12:30 pm. Coffee and cake are on the menu plus prayer and Bible Study (see below)

Bible Study Group

A  Bible study group meets every other week. Attendance is optional and prayer and worship are regular features of our time together.

Social Events

We try to support each other practically and organise various social events including a monthly Sunday lunch; house parties; treasure hunt; Christmas Carol service.

Community Outreach

We’re involved in our community by providing a fortnightly food program for needy families and by participating in the local annual Christmas fair. Every fortnight, someone from our congregation shop on behalf of the Fellowship to supply groceries to help 13 families in the village. The Church also supports Project4All a local charity providing meals for the homeless. The Church regularly makes several donations during the year to various charities or disaster needs.

Pastoral Work

The team works hard to meet the needs of our congregation who may have an ongoing illness or short-term needs.

Helping people in need, emotionally, physically, and practically is a big part of our pastoral care. From just having a coffee with someone who feels lonely to practical support such as shopping, and attending medical appointments. the pastoral team organises a prayer chain to support people in need of prayer. We have three WhatsApp groups to keep people in touch and communicating with each other – a social group, a devotional group and a help request group.
